This has an interesting flavor of grapes and a scent of cedar. Hops are listed as Strata, Mosaic, and Citra, a winning combination. While it's not really hazy, the grain bill includes oats and flaked wheat. It does have a silky mouthfeel. Aromas of orange and papaya. Marmalade taste with pineapple and a hot finish.
Moderate sweetness and quite a malty body. Just slightly bitter with a winey character. Overall this is a very drinkable and refined DIPA with a balance of sugar and bitterness, aromatics and zingy acidity. From the Cascade Peaks series, in the 500 ml bottle.
