Murky grayed orange brew with a wisp of foam in the Brigand chalice. Whatever this rough beast is, it's very sweet. The usual acidity has no chance against all this sugar. Extreme orange taste with a dollop of canned peach syrup and sloe gin finish. Then the bitter aftertaste. IBUs rated at 85 and I believe it.
Hops are listed as Citra, Zeus, and Azacca. Aroma is just strange, with all the fruit and some kind of basement smell of concrete plus the compost. Grain includes both raw and malted oats. It's certainly sippable, but not for the faint of palate. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Pioneer Market in La Conner.
