This is a "German Style Maibock" but lower ABV and apparently different from their other Maibocks. This is rather sweet with a lovely mellow sweet bread flavor. A slight bitterness refreshes the palate. A little dried pear flavor and a dose of yeasty esters, but quite pleasant. Pours a clear deep yellow color with plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Thickish mouthfeel with that sugary feeling, enlivened by the sparkling carbonation. No doubt bought this at Elizabeth Station. "Best By 09/19/22" stamped on the bottom.
