Another one from last season's fresh hop brews. Pours a hazy amber with plenty of foam in the Orval chalice. Fruity aroma with something tart. It's really sweet but also quite woody and rather acidic. Another confirmation of my theory that the worst way to brew a fresh hop beer is to use a NEIPA recipe. Besides the sugar there is a green, herbal, and moderately astringent taste. Unfortunately it just gets bitter after all that. A few sips are interesting but the rest goes away. From the 12 oz can.
