Clear golden yellow brew with long-lasting foam in the chalice. Pleasantly sudsy on the tongue, tangy and bright. Aroma is flowery with a hint of pine.

There is just a hint of malt and then very dry. This is resiny and a little harsh at the finish. A little more bitterness than I find drinkable for a light hoppy brew. That frothy mouthfeel with a hoppy nose is the best part. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Safeway.

22 oz bottle. No bottling info. Purchased at a Spanaway convenience store this morning. It was new and local.

Pours a slightly hazy orange-caramel body that becomes sunset orange when held up to the light. White head. Great retention and lacing.

Smell was nice but not pronounced. A citrus hop scent with a solid malt presence.

Taste was very nice balance of tart red grapefruit and a slightly sweet malt.

Reviewing the feel of this one was confounding. Velvety smooth like a good oatmeal stout. But as a pale ale it seemed a little watery. I generally like my pale ales a little more crisp ...But as I look at the last inch of this beer, and it has sat in my glass for almost an hour... There is still head retention and obvious carbonation.

Very well balanced ! As I move from winter beer mode (porters, stouts, winter warmers in front of the wood stove) towards summer mode (Pale ale, IPA and Pilsners after yard work) This one seems like a great transition beer . I would have this again.
