I'll start by admitting that cream ales are not my first choice of style. That being said I kind of dig this one if you're in the mood for something light and easy to drink but not entirely without presence.

The pour is a classic pastel pale yellow and features a thin cobweb of white over the top. Accumulation at the edges leaves deposits intermittently but nothing super exciting.

The nose did not breed confidence for me as it's immediately nothing but wet grains with a touch of yeast.

Sipping at it though reveals more of what I would look for in a cream ale. The light bodied smoothe take that reminds me of creamed corn (not that weird DMSO flavour though.. just in terms of being light and smoothe and somewhat creamy).
It goes down really easily and I could see it being a good one for a hot afternoon of yard work.
