First had this at the Sumner Art & Rhubarb Pie Festival in the Barrel House. Smells of strawberries, pours gold with a pinkish hue, delicate lacing and the right amount of carbonation to lift the aromatics without making me burpy.

Fresh local strawberries from the Puyallup Valley were used in the crafting of this beer, so it's all natural! I really liked this a lot; had about 4 or 5 tasters of it at the festival, then followed up with two growler fills (64oz & 32oz) from a local bottle shop. (Bet you can guess where. LOL)

Tangy-tart front, eases into a refreshing summertime brew with fermented strawberry coming to the fore as the beer warms. If you're a fan of the strawberry, this is one to seek out next summer.

I would say this beer is likely mis-categorized here on BeerAdvocate. It's a saison base, but the flavor and aroma is all fruit. Definitely should be classified as a "Fruit Beer."

A: Poured a golden color with good carbonaton presenting a nice white cap, some light bubbles and lacing

S: Fresh strawberries and a Earthy, musty horseblanket. The nose really dominated leaving one to the imagination? Is this a fruit beer or a Farmhouse? Nope, a hybrid

T: Immediate strawberry presence, fresh strawberries dominate start to finish. It masks the lack of Farmhouse characterisitcs such as: light spiciness, Earthy notes, barnyard funk, hay, pears, apples and lighter orchard fruits. The strawberry masks it all, not even sure if it was there to begin with. The only other tasting note I get is a musty, odd almost light bitterness that blends in with the strawberries. The finish is sordove musty, dry and did I say strawberry?

M: Carbonation is a little wonky on this too. Light to Medium bodied.

O: As a fruit beer I would give this a solid C for the sheer amount of fresh strawberries. As a farmhosue beer it should have been just that "Farmhouse" first not Fruit beer first and a hint at Farmhouse lurking undercover.
