16 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on it. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a Teku glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear reddish amber color with about an inch tan head that stuck around a little while. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like caramel, cloves, banana and some candy sugar. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some candied orange and bready malt flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of soft carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, like it more the longer I drank it. Worth trying if you get the chance!

I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured a dark amber with white head that left some lace. The scent had sweet Belgian malt and sugar notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with Belgian sugar presence that left cinnamon spice on the palate. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

On tap at the brewery taproom in Dayton.
Pours hazy brown with a weak head.
Typical dubbel aroma dominated by caramel.
The flavor and feel reflect all 8.5% ABV. The flavor lacks balance, complexity and refinement but has no major flaws and does reflect the intended style.
Overall: a decent dubbel.

From a growler via The Growler Stop. This decent "dubbel" pours a murky brown tinged amber
with a moderate head of white foam that subsides to a thick ring, subtle light layer, and features
spotty lacing. Nose of subtle citrus notes of orange peel, light brown sugar aromas, and a touch of
biscuit. Flavors lightly exceed the nose with biscuit, light earth yeast notes, subtle banana and orange
zest awash in mild brown sugar notes. Decent mouth feel; medium body, medium low carbonation,
and a subtle dry sweet finish touched with grain notes.
Overall; a decent brew, but needing some tweaking to bring it more into the style profile.
