I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that did not leave much lace. The scent had sweet roast malt, coconut and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt, roast, coconut, and chocolate presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

I would give this beer to someone who asked me what a porter should taste like. Tasted at the brewery tasting room. Great mouth feel, very roasty and chocolatey with just enough hop note to create balance. A very well done beer!
