From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a very dark
brownish black with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin swirling layer, and shows some nice lacing. Nose of coconut, dark chocolate,
vanilla, and faint coffee, and roasted malt goodness. Flavors surpass the nose
with roasted malts, coffee,, dark chocolate, earthy malt notes, vanilla, moderate
char, and light toasted coconut. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, smooth,
moderately coating, and finishing with a bitter malt and char note.
Overall, a solid little brew
Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating I could find on it but I bought this about 3-4 weeks ago. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coconut, vanilla, roasted malt and coffee. I think the taste follows the aroma for the most part, but there's also the addition of some dark bread and bittersweet chocolate flavors too. To me none of the flavors/aromas overpower the others and that's a good thing in this case. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth and has a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, wouldn't mind trying their others in the future!
