From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This nice little porter pours a
dark and muddled blackish brown with a moderate head of khaki
foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some
nice lacing. Nose of dark malts, raspberry, subtle dark cocoa, and
faint char. Flavors follow the nose with bitter dark cocoa, subtle
coffee, tart raspberry, as well as subtle char and deep roast. Mouth
feel is medium, light carbonation, smooth, lightly coating, and finishing
with a roasted and tart raspberry finish that is moderately dry.
Overall, a decent little brew. Of note, let it warm, it opens up and
improves/
Cheers

I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that did not leave much lace. The scent had sweet roast malt, berry, and chocolate notes. The taste was fruity sour leaning and not overly easy to drink with sweet malt, sour berry, and chocolate presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a ok beer.
