Named after the ISO-Alpha acids that the hops impart after the boil, balanced and drinkable, this golden-colored IPA is generously hopped with Citra and Simcoe to give a smooth tropical fruit finish with medium bitterness.

16 FL OZ can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a dull amber hue and has a haze to it. It is topped with a couple inches of eggshell head that leaves great lacing.
Medicinal aroma with some citrus
Medicinal flavor. Mild bitterness
Medium to light bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
The medicinal/eucalyptus aspect is not my favorite.

A - Pours slightly hazy, golden and bright. White head, short, with lots of lacing.
S - Pungent nose of hops, mint and pine with deep resin.
T - Follows the nose, with a bit of lemon and citrus zest. A bit of pith and herbal notes, with a lingering bitter bite in the finish.
M - Moderate carbonation and weight, with a dry close and a building resin residue.
O - Decent IPA, drinkable and satisfying.

I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had sweet citrus and notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt and bright citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.
