Review from notes taken at Toxic Brew Co on 7-20-13
The beer was hazy but didn't seem to have particles of noticeable size in it. It was given to me with about a finger of head. Yellow body was darker than I expected in the style.
Bananas, wheat and the strong aroma of yeast they seemed very proud of at the bar.
Bananas dominated the flavor on this. Wheat, yeast, grass and spices make up the supporting cast.
Mouthfeel seemed off. Felt smoother than it seemed it should have.
This beer did not look or like a typical Hefeweizen, but it had the smell and the flavor.
