The chalkboard in the comedy club said 7.1% abv.

Pours a licorice black with very faint dark brown hues. Light tn ring of foam around the edge of the beer. Just a little lacing. The nose is full of dry dark chocolate with a touch of cream. The taste is splotchy patches of cheap chocolate, cheaper than Hershey, with hints of of powdered creamer. Gte weird medicinal hints intermingling with these nice flavors. The palate felt dry, and powdery. The aoma is a little misleading.

Enjoyed on-tap at the brewpub.

Served as a very deep brown colored beer with moderate tannish head.

Smell has a nice coffee and roasted malt texture with a touch of sweetness.

Taste is profoudly sweet, bit when combined with the coffee, the combination is really enjoyable.

A nice stout, amybe a bit too sweet for my liking, but still enjoyable.

(Served in an American pint glass)

A- This beer has a black body but there is lots of brown glow around the edges of the glass. There is a light tan head that is pretty creamy and last for a bit. There is a good carbonation of tiny bubbles.

S- There is a soft smooth smell of black malt with a faint note of powdered creamer. There is no smell of hops and not much depth in the malt.

T- The light taste of black malt has a slight smoky sweet note with a hint of earthiness. The finish has a light sweetness that hangs for just a second. There is no bitterness or sourness in the finish to balance the malt but the malt is so light it doesn't really need it.

M- This beer has a medium-light mouthfeel with a soft fizz finish. This beer has a pretty thin body overall.

D- This beer is pretty thin especially for a stout and there is not much depth of flavor or smell.
