It's the same basic caramel color as a cola soda, but not as dark. It is opaque, once poured into a clear Imperial pint glass from a pint can. There's only a very little head and glass lacing. The smell is of a cinnamon infused roasted malt and not much more. The taste is of a cinnamon infused roasted malt and not much more. Disappointingly light bodied, overly sweet and not close to being as complex as the same style from Blue Point, there is little to praise here. Even the cinnamon is subdued, but that's OK. With most desert beers, one is enough. This time, one might be too much.

Tastes as expected. A tad heavy on maple syrup.
