1 Liter Bottle 4,0% Abv.
Served chilled in an over sized wine glass.
Purchased at the brewery.
Appearance: Clear, light golden body topped by a large white head that lasts pretty well, but leaves very little lace.
Smell: Mmmm, this smells a whole lot better than most local blonde ales! Pale malt overlaid with light golden fruits, a touch of citrus and grassy, lightly floral hops.
Taste: The initial flavour is of sweet pale malt, but this quickly fades into grassy and lightly citric hops. Oddly the citrus notes are almost reminiscent of lemon scented dishwashing soap. The finish is lasting with a solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Light body with a high level of carbonation.
Overall: A good blonde ale and one I would have again if passing by the brewery.
