On-tap @ Freiburg (Barcelona). De Graal Tulip glass. Pours pale gold in color with cloudy appearance.White & creamy foam, thick & lasting crown. Nice lacing rides are left around. Outstanding aroma profile displays spices, pale malts, sugar & molasses, vanilla hues, aromatic herbs -mint, lavender, sage- & underlying citric notes. Sweet maltiness at first sip is just an illusion sweep it out by dried but no harsh hoppiness & kind alcohol heat. Light to medium body. Moderate to soft carbonation. Viscous & flavorful texture. Subtle herbal bitter flavor balanced by candy sugar, Belgian yeast & ripe fruit hints in the middle. Long no cloying sweet finish. Ripe fruit on the aftertaste. So well integrated ABV, neither harsh nor acidic, resolves in a delicious & gentle drinkability. To be enjoyed in a paused & quiet session!!
