On tap at The Masonry, Seattle.
From the Shelton Brothers website description of this beer: "Brewed with pure cocoa beans, and local blueberries and raspberries, this whimsically-named Imperial is creamy, “beery”, and reminiscent of a berry chocolate cake–a favorite in Catalunya."
This is a dark stout, not much head. The berry character of the stout is in the background ... it's there, but not as prominent as you might think, or as prominent as the berries in a berry chocolate cake concoction. There's chocolate in the taste, of course, fairly dark chocolate. The beer is a bit sweet, but not overly so.
Overall, it's a slightly different take on an imperial stout with adjuncts ... the chocolate and berries add character, but don't dominate the stout itself. Pretty interesting stuff.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
