IPA Brewed with oats. Hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Chinook, Centennial and Columbus. An otherworldly IPA. Bow down before the ALien Church! Notes of blueberries, fresh orange slices, dank, deep pine, honeydew melons.
(The first 2 batches were hopped with Mosaic, Citra, and Chinook)

L-Pours a foamy strong and pillowy headed beer, at two and a half fingers in size, with a hazy straw-orange body. Subtle bubbly carbonation throughout.
S-Sweet, sugary tropical fruit notes that are pithy and citrusy with funky esters are up front. Grape fruit and orange are the main fruits I find, some pineapple is there as well. Funky brett dankness. An almost candy, sweet tart-like aroma piggybacks after this. Vegetal spicy, and herbal note towards the back end.
T-More piney at first sip, with a nice malt sweetness that follows. The fruity citrus presents itself well, and I get mostly grapefruit with some orange pith. There is a nice bitterness that is welcomed and enhances the grapefruit note. I also get a vegetal and herbal wave towards the back followed by a slight funkiness.
F-Medium bodied with slight carbonation.
O-A very interesting and deliciously crafted NE IPA. In a beer world still polluted by the haze craze, I find these offerings refreshing. It's deeply complex, nuanced in other areas, and beautifully original. Hints of that haze-bomb trend that everyone loves, but a deep complexity that makes this beer perfect to sit back and explore. Loved every sip and will have again. Cheers!

Enjoyed at the new Industry in Washington. 4/17/26
Really nice all the way around. Not overly sweet, which is refreshing for a NEIPA. Nice and bitter, subtly sweet orange, melon really comes through along with a nice dankness.

Wow.
My first foray into the Alien Church.
I was hesitant to enter the haze, but praise was high, and I was hopeful.
My faith has been rewarded, as the hazy trinity of trop- murk-juice had been exorcised, and what appeared was a miraculous marriage of flavor and bitterness. Drinkability is divine, and I eagerly await church to be in session again.
*it should be noted that this beer is a "hazy" in the same blessed good way as the Alchemist - through oats and yeast and unfiltered love. And a helluva heaping of heavenly HOPS!
If that's your congregation, get yourself to the Alien Church!

Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Canned 1/14/26.
Appearance: medium golden-yellow hue with tons of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam that leaves a chunky lace on the glass.
Smell: sweet malt with a dank tropical fruit profile: passionfruit and papaya maybe. It has a kind of juicy earthiness to it. I dig it.
Taste: quite sweet with an almost honey-like character to the malt. The dankness from the aroma continues, and although it maintains some of those papaya notes, it reads as less fruity and more as "juicy herbs" or something. There's also a bit of hop burn going on but still it's a very solid hazy.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a very tasty hazy indeed. Very much on the dank/earthy end of the spectrum, though.

On tap: poured into standard pint glass: color is straw gold, head is off white and creamy, head presents one finger thick then dissipates to solid top with some on glass sides.
Aroma is pith and citrus, light tropical but more citric forward, light oat and biscuit with warmth.
Taste is similar with grapefruit pith and zest notes, light pine and earth.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, stronger bitterness for NEIPA and welcomed

16 oz cans are showing up in Delaware liquor stores. Found some fresh at Total Wine and had to splurge on a 4 pack. Very tasty NE IPA with great citrus scent and juicy deep piney flavor. I’ve had this on tap at Harvest and it is a beautiful hazy. Overall, a fantastic beer.

Hazy, orange color. Big, white head. Fresh tropical fruits, grapefruit, and malt in the aroma. Juicy, hoppy taste with moderate bitterness. A great, memorable IPA.

Got lucky and a local place has this on draft! One of the best NE IPAs I’ve had and love that the brewery is not quite NE. I am not a fan of intense flavor/heavy beers so I typically shy away from NE IPAs, save for when I’m in Maine and have access to good ones. This one has a lighter feel, but plenty of intense/bitter and aromatic fruit flavors. It also has an intense terpene/piney flavor.
