Double Honey India Black Ale. Brewed with pa wildflower honey and a plethora of specialty malts. Hopped intensely with Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, and Columbus.
Dark black-brown pour, with a creamy tan head that retained well, and left soapy lacing on the glass. Appealing aroma, lots of pineapple, citrus, with light undertones of dark malts. The taste largely reflected the aroma, with notes of grapefruit, pineapple, pine, dusty cocoa, and a little solventy flavor coming through. Like many TH ABAs, this one had quite a good mouthfeel, with a good balance of dark malts and potent hops, medium body, pretty good overall.
