Served on-tap at the pub.

A - Pours murky light brown with a small half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to very thin film, leaving small streaks of lace on the sides of the glass.

S - Smells of toasted caramel malt, toffee, spicy rye, grassy and piney hops and some doughy malt.

T - Starts off with the caramel and toffee sweetness quickly being joined by the light grassy hop bitterness and then a huge hit of spicy rye. Finish is quite dry from the hops and spice, lingering long after the finish.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Rich, toasty feel with some spicy, chewy backing from the rye.

O - Ehh a decent brown ale but I don't get a ton of hops thanks to the strong rye spiciness. Nice to try but there are better beers on right now.

On tap at TH.

This was not the first "hoppy brown ale" offered by Tired Hands, but when they pop up, they're always good. Golden-brown color, hazy, with an off-white head that held at a collar; good lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted bread, pine, with some herbal notes. The taste largely reflected the aroma, super bready, crusty, piney, herbal, light caramel sweetness. Medium body, and quite good overall.
