Delicious and drinkable. Don't expect big bold coffee flavors . This ones about the hops

thanks to tenderbranson69 for sharing this growler with me, enjoyed chilled from a willybecker.
The color is golden with hazed appearance with thick frothy head and fine bead with lace that sticks. The smell has a strong dank and herbal smell of simcoe hops with light green pepper coffee accent like bell pepper but the hops are the main smell and very juicy grapefruit. The feel is slightly bitter with mild sweetness and juicy hop flavor with light citrus acidity and full yeast presence with unfiltered oily hop texture. The carbonation is mild with slightly vegetal and semi-dry astringent finish.
The taste is good with hop forward and simcoe flavor that is dominant with flavors of tangy citrus, dank and herbal with the flavor of coffee an afterthought. There is a light nutty quality of coffee as it warms with mild acidity from the beans w/ slightly vegetal finish. Overall this is a tasty pale ale with tasty raw simcoe and low abv however the frivolous coffee doesn't really add to this -yup that seems apropos
