Growler pour. The brewery's website says it's "smooooooth," with like twelve O's, so my hopes were high.
Pours dark. Smells malty and sweet with a firm bitter backing. Shitload of oats are obviously present, but balanced out superbly by chocolate and spice nodes.
Taste like it smells, like some kind of weird goddamn dark chocolate spice fudge. Sweet overall, burnt barley nodes kickin' against milk chocolate, finishes sweet.
Darn good oatmeal porter, but nothing insane.

Poured from a growler
Almost black, very dark brown. Head fades quickly. Aroma is sweet and bit off caramel. Smooth taste, drinks easy. Brown sugar aftertaste. medium to thick body, low carbonation.
