Brewed with oats and wheat. Dry hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo, Lemon Drop, and Nelson Sauvin. Conditioned on a big batch of our executive chef Bill Brauns' Ass Kickin' Hot sauce. Lively, fragrant, and ass kickin' spicy!

Got a 32-oz growler from the cafe the other week. Pours a hazy bright yellow with nice rocky white head that eventually fades. Aroma of fresh cut green pepper, jalapeƱos, hot sauce spice, a some muted tropical hop note. Taste has upfront jalapeƱo & spicy notes. Heat is manageable with slight warmth yet not overdone. Balance is towards the peppers & hot sauce spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, somewhat lush. Overall, a nicely done chile beer with just enough spicy heat to give you a nice little sweat. Not overbearing. Tasty and definitely an interesting culinary beer. Paired well with some Trader Joe's farmhouse cheddar cheese.
