Thanks to my brother for this beer bestowed on my birthday, enjoyed chilled from the can in a glass
the color is golden, hazed with a thick white head with tiny bead
the smell has a strong hop odor with citrus and mild coffee aroma with slight yeast that has a fruity odor
The ale feel has mild astringency and light bitterness up front with smooth nutty texture and light alcohol with subtle malt sweetness and semi-dry finish
This IPA is lightly fruity with a semi-tangy citrus taste and some coffee with creamy malt and a gentle acidity with subtle yeast influence in taste. The mild herbal almost grass-like astringent element is present with light spice with a warming of alcohol in the back as it finishes dry.
Overall a solid take on coffee-IPA with creamy oils and mild roast with a nice doe of coffee in the background yet enough hops to consider it a good fit.

16 oz can, dated 7/5/18, poured into a mug with a small amount poured into a tasting glass to the color
A- A hazy golden straw with a three finger white head
S- Roasted coffee, vanilla, slightly earthy, tropical fruits and citrus. Almost smells like an overhopped coffee porter.
T- Citrus, roasted coffee, vanilla, some tropical fruits, hints of chocolate.
M- Smooth, medium body, slightly creamy.
O- A surprisingly good coffee IPA, a truly blind taste test I might even call it a coffee porter with a lot of hops. Nothing is over done, hops, coffee and vanilla are well balanced.
