Sampling a cellar temp 12 oz can poured into my 0.5L dimple mug. Date stamp is 11/20/2025. Picked up at local beer store while in PA over the Holidays.
The beer pours a clear copper hue with a large fluffy yet dense khaki colored head of 3 cm. This foam slowly fades to a sturdy and sticky surface covering on my glass. Lots of windowpane lacing on the sides of the glass. A few lazy streams of carbonation rise to the surface.
Aroma is some grainy brown bread and light toasted caramel, maybe a little nutty, like a walnut. Not much hop character and overall the nose is kinda mild.
First sip reveals a light to medium body with smooth texture and very fine and tingly carbonation.
Flavor is similar to the nose advertisements, with toasted caramel and again some walnut nut flavor with some crust of brown bread. Here there is some black tea bite, which I attribute to hops and also drying on the finish. This is a very drinkable beer that I am enjoying, its malt forward but finishes with some balance. never any hint of the ABV, which is of course low. Id gladly drink another can.

Not much for aroma or minor characteristics but the malt and mouthfeel are really on point.

Clear amber with two fingers of foamy, light-tan head. Good retention and thick lacing.
Refined sweet malt — lightly toasted, almost nutty, almost woody — with a whiff of carbon dioxide in the nose.
Burnt caramel, light walnut, and earthy, bitter finish in the taste.
Full bodied, smooth feel with plenty of carbonation.
Nice malt profile and easy-drinking.

Had this on 2020-01-01 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 16oz canned on 2019-11-18
A - Clear copper with a 1-finger tan head and light lace
S - Lightly toasted brown bread with apple butter, light caramel and earthy spice
T - Much like the aroma although there's a heavier roasted malt flavor. There's some citrus, caramel, earthy/black tea and a good bit of lingering bitterness in the dry finish; more than the Fat Head's Altbier I had last week.
M - Light-medium body and medium carbonation.
O - I enjoyed this beer and have recently become enamored with the altbier style. I'd have this again although the lingering bitterness in the finish was more than I prefer.

Poured from a tallboy can into a tulip
L: Nearly clear copper brown pour. 2 fingers of foamy head... great ring of lacing.
S: Toasted grains... mild dark sugars and noble hops.
T/F: Follows the nose. Toasted grains and sugars. Malty but not sweet. Mild hopping for bitterness without a lot of hop flavor. Crisp and balanced. The finish is grainy and clean. Well carbonated.
O: A solid Alt beer... an unusual style, and one I was surprised to see Tired Hands tackle. Well made... just not a huge fan of the style, and I probably judged the beer unfairly by that metric. I love their other stuff a lot more but would definitely drink this one again.

16 oz can, dated 11/10/17, poured into a pint glass
A- A slightly murky brownish deep amber with a two finger off white head
S- Some citrusy and piney hops, touch of tea leaves, toasted malts, some sweet bread, hoppier than I thought it was going to be
T- Toasted malts, some caramel malts, sweet bready, touch of citrus, piney finish, slightly nutty.
M- Smooth, light body.
O- This a solid, easy drinking beer, but I do feel it is over hopped some.
