I didn’t expect much out of this one, and that’s fine. It’s kind of like this one time when Raul went out with Sherry, while her sister Terry was the hotter one. But what do you know? Beauty really can be in the eye of the beholder; and what Sherry didn’t have in looks, she made up for it in other places, ya feel me? Sherry may not be prom queen, but she still knows how to get down.
Woot!

16 ounce can poured into a pilsner glass.
Not surprised at all, but this is hazy as shit. Kellerbier maybe? Haha. Either way it's got the light golden body and the sudsy pale white head and I'm really expecting something delicious.
Smells pretty awesome too. Melony, lemony and a tinge of grapefruit. Floral with a light white bread aroma. Pretty damn great here.
Flavor doesn't quite hit it out of the park for me though. Shows some floral bouquet, zesty but light grapefruit, some lemon notes...and a bunch of off flavors. Kinda muddy-like flavors and lingering yeast. Not so bueno.
Feel kind of suffers in the same way the flavor does; the beer just isn't clean feeling, smooth and refreshing as should be the case with a pilsner. The carbonation is overly aggressive, the yeast lingers heavily, overly floral and overall there's that dirty dishwater quality I find in some IPAs. Biggest failure is here.
I've enjoyed quite a number of TH beers, but this just isn't one of them. Maybe need to consider whether they have the technique necessary for a pils or the ability to do the unfiltered deal and still capture what makes a pilsner great, or just stick to what they do well.

Draft: A delicious beer. I'm not certain this is what the Germans had it mind, but it has what I understand to be a purposeful haze, crisp bready pilsner malt backbone, and then loads of dank, lemony hops. Fun to drink. Perhaps edited when I crack the growler I got.

White head. Clear yellow color.
Earthy and herbal. Grassy. Lemony and citrusy.
Decent amount of bitterness but the bready Pilsner flavors balance it out.
Solid offering. Would be a great lawn mower beer.
