Pours very dark with no carbonation. Great aroma of chocolate covered strawberries and tart raspberries. Very very tangy - was not expecting that much tang. Chocolate and raspberry dominate the palate; minimal vanilla and no coffee flavor. Being 3 years old, I can appreciate that the coffee faded. Not sure how this tasted fresh, I am not a fan of it now, even though I purchased it a few months ago at the brewery. It's too winey.

A- Black with a very small mocha head
S- Chocolate, bourbon, tart raspberries, mild funk, some vanilla and oak.
T- Tart, raspberries, cherries, chocolate, some coffee, oak, some bourbon/vanilla, mild funk.
M- Smooth, full body, low carbonation
O- A very interesting “stout”. Kind of reminds me of some of the Bourbon County Stouts with fruit but soured. Very complex and layered.

Black with a thin mocha colored head. Dark malt aroma with berries, molasses, tobacco and bourbon. Interesting taste with a mix of bourbon, purple grapes and red wine. Medium-to-heavy bodied with a lush, smooth mouthfeel.
