A double version of our freaked-out mango IPA. This birthday batch was hopped with Galaxy and Simcoe!

thanks to my bro for sharing this growler enjoyed chilled in a willybecker
The color is a sunny golden with slight orange hue and thick haze with white creamy head. The smell is moderately full tropical with slight herbal hops and moderately strong alcohol aroma. The feel is very good with a nice amount of mango and yet there is balance with the bitterness of the hops there is a slight warmth of alcohol as it is dry in the finish.
The taste is very good - lots of mango flavor in the initial taste with more herbal and citrus hop flavors coming in mid palate and slight astringnent quality with a moderate amount of alcohol in the finish. Overall I really enjoyed this the only thing is you can tell that it is a 9% IPA the alcohol flavor is the only thing that deters from repeat samples
