Pinch off the Dead Parts is an IPA that was brewed in tandem with our great friend, Brad Clark, from @jackieosbrewery. Brewed with oats and wheat. Spiced with lemon balm and fresh green coriander from Jean's farm. Hopped intensely with Mosaic, Cascade, Motueka, and Centennial.

From a 16 oz can purchased at the can release about three weeks ago. A cloudy pour of a tan/yellow nearly-opaque beer. Citrus and spice notes on the nose and palate, and a piney, bitter finish. Another great brew from TH which continues to outperform.

pours a cloudy opaque lightish yellow. The smell has some subtle pine on the back end with tropical fruit forward. Hint of mango and ripe carambola. Taste is a juice explosion with subtle sweetness on the front end and not much hop bitterness on the back end. In fact the bitterness is very subdued almost non existent (which I personally enjoy). Citrus notes of lemon remain as a pleasurable lingering aftertaste. Feels silky smooth in your mouth with a medium body. Overall an excellent example of what an IPA can be; not bitter just complex with heavy aromatics. Really good beer.

Almost fully opaque tan yellow with a moderate soft creamy white head and some reaching lace.
Bread and oat aromas waft off first, with some subdued but dank hops, vanilla creme, and even a novel butterscotch element.
Spicy, tangy lemon meringue pie is again mellowed out by that bready malt and even mallow smoothing aspect. Some herbal dankness not directly identifiable as coriander or cilantro makes itself known. There is definitely a balance between classic ultra citrus and piney IPA flavors, with a bready pils taste butting in. A little spearmint is present as well.
Semi frothy, semi-dry.
