This iteration of D2H3 was double dry hopped with the beautiful Australian hop, Galaxy. Full of ripe melon and intense grapefruity zest.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed light golden pour with massive fluffy white head. Great retention and lacing.
S: Delicate citrus... grapefruit and tangerine.
T.F: Light malts... a bit of sweetness up front with a light citrusy profile. Grapefruit and tangerine again... melon and grass with a bit of spice. Modest bitterness... light and creamy. More grapefruit zest at the finish.
O: An outstanding APA. Great flavor and drinkability... love what Tired Hands did with this one.

Fantastic brew, if you like Galaxy (and I do). Tons of grapefruit and piney notes in the aroma and in the taste. A little bitter in the finish, more than you typically get with a Tired Hands brew, but still delightfully refreshing.

Pours a goegeous lemon-mango yellow with a one-finger white foam head. Astringent but juicy, classic TH NEIPA hop nose. Galaxy pine bite on the palate with a large element of grassiness mirrored from the nose. Pithy mouthfeel more akin to an NEIPA than a pale. Excellent.

on draft, in a tulip glass
very hazy opaque light yellow in color. thick white head. fruity and dank aroma which is nice but not as bold as I expected based on the "double dry hoped" moniker. the taste is light on any malt component. mainly grapefruit, citrus zest. but there is an unpleasant sharpness to the bitterness. body and mouthfeel is good, although a little thin.

From a 16oz can purchased at the September release. Typical cloudy pour for a TH pale ale with a modest head and a dusky straw color. Lots of "dank" on the nose and palate with citrus tones, pleasant bitterness and a long finish. A very good APA overall.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was chill haze sort of murky yellow paper color with a nice looking sturdy foamy white head. Swiftly glided off to leave some messy lace.
The aroma had a great balance between grapefruit pulp sweetness to rind-like bitterness then popping in a little bit of lemon zest and a soothingly smooth citrus zest rounding it all out. Ever so slight lemongrass.
The flavor was moderately sweet touching down on some bitterness and then allowing the zesty portion to pop the balance ever so slightly. Aftertaste was grapefruit pulp, rind-like bitterness and the lemongrass.
The mouthfeel was pretty smooth for being an APA, but I get it, it's one of those New England styled ones, so, no worries. Quite sessionable with a nice sturdy and projected ABV. Finish was somewhat smooth and unyielding.
Overall, really nice New England styled APA well worthy of having again.

Just the right amount of crisp, still a little soft otherwise. Orangey and sweet on the nose, but plenty of bite, herbal, citrus and earthy taste delivered in a perfectly bitter vehicle. Finishes a little carbo tangy, leaves a bit of activity on the tongue despite little after taste.
