Basil Blossom IPA brewed with Vienna, sorghum and a touch of wheat. Hopped singularity and generously with Huell Melon. Conditioned on healthy heaps of fresh blue basil blossoms. A quaffable reminder that autumn is upon us!

I tried this from the growler chilled, poured in an oversized wine glass.
The color is golden with some haze and whit head with good retention and average bead with lace that sticks. The smell is very basil with a floral and anise type spice aroma. The feel is good yet the herb gives a medicinal astringent aspect which sort of overpowers the hops and dries the palate as it finishes.
The flavor is very good with a more pronounced basil taste than hops with a good support from malt yet finishes semi-dry with a mild medicinal taste almost like aspirin. The overall take is that this is very good -the most basil I have tasted in a beer with a great aroma and fresh flavor.
