I tried this from the growler thanks to tenderbranson69 poured chilled in a snifter.
The color is a medium amber with light haze and thin white head and fine bead with lace left clinging. The smell is very herbal with perhaps a mild citrus accent. The feel is mostly dry with slight resinous and subtle astringent elements with moderate carbonation and dry finish.
The taste has a mild fruit and slight astringent taste with herbal taste and light sweetness with a mild fruity yeast quality with mostly dry yet lightly bitter finish. The flavor is good but I had a hard time picking up any tea, the hops and Earl Grey seem to overlap I suppose, not bad.

This beer exceeded my expectations in every way. I've rarely had a good English Bitter or a beer that made good use of Earl Grey. Trying both simultaneously seemed bold, but trusting Tired Hands, I gave it a try, and I was glad I did.
Served in a 4oz taster at the Brew House. Poured a standard orange color with a half-finger white head. Earl Grey tea immediately dominated the nose, amidst a background of ESB malt and hop. Impressively, the Earl Grey on the palate came off perfectly. It was not too bitter as overly steeped tea, nor too faint to be noticed. The palate progressed from this perfect cup of tea, to what was a solid ESB base (one of the best I've ever had in fact). A medium light mouthfeel with good carbonation rounded out this "tea beer". An absolutely outstanding beer for the night, and a true dark horse in the Brew House lineup.
