A flavorful, beautiful IPA you can chug. Only 3.9% but so rich and hoppy.

I tried this thanks to my brother tenderbranson69, poured chilled from the growler in a snifter.

The color is golden light amber with a slight haziness and thin white head with fine bead. The smell is mostly citrus and slight tropical and herbal smell like lemongrass. The feel is good -refreshingly effervescent with light body and mostly dry finish with mild astringency.

The taste is good with a mild bitterness and mostly dry flavor of malt with herbal almost grassy hop flavor with a lemony quality that is refreshing. This is a good lawnmower type session IPA, was refreshing and drinkable.

4oz taster served on tap at the brew house. Poured a thin, yellow hue with a thin white frothy head. The nose is standard IPA, with a leaning towards the piny side. The palate is not as astringent as many IPAs however, and has a much lighter, fruitier taste than most. The most dominant notes from the palate are lemon and apple. There is no wheat taste whatsoever (which makes sense for a beer fermented entirely from oats). The body is incredibly light with mild carbonation. Overall, it's a solid beer. Light, unique, and a great experiment, but not a beer I'd buy. A successful experiment but not one with long-term prospects.
