Black Lime Double IPA brewed with oats. Hopped aggressively with Galaxy and Motueka. Conditioned on heaps of tart Persian black limes.

thanks to my brother for sharing this -enjoyed the growler in a snifter.
The color is a smoothie-like golden with thick white head. The smell is very citrus fruit with lime presence noticeable. The feel is like a beer-cooler -lots of citrus tang with the yeast/malt supporting and moderate carbonation with mild astringency in finish.
The taste is great a lot of citrus with malt adding sweet to contrast the lime zesty tangy flavor like limeade yet a mild hop bitterness and subtle spice in the back with malt verymild and yeast the same with lime lingering on the palate after the finish. Overall this is great if you like lime-good for me as I love it, the NE style low bitterness and juicy citrus makes the alcohol almost undetectable.
