Double IPA brewed with oats. Fermented with loads of apricot purée and hopped aggressively with Simcoe, Galaxy, Amarillo, and Citra. Crisp and aromatic.

Poured into a tulip from a can dated 2-1-17. Light orange in color with speckles floating around immediately. Very small head that disappears quickly. A strong scent of fruit. The taste wasn't for me, it just seemed a little artificial. The apricot flavor did not compliment the beer. Light carbonation with a strong boozie character. Interesting beer overall.

Thank you CanConPhilly for this
16 oz can, dated 2/1/17, poured into a teku
A- A slightly hazy golden orange with a two finger white head. Second pour is crazy cloudy, assume from apricot purée
S- Tropical hops, some apricots slightly sweet, floral and piney hops.
T- Apricots, some tropical fruits, some citrus, piney/resin finish.
S- Smooth, medium body.
O- A great fruit DIPA and actually fits the style of a DIPA unlike the Double Milkshakes. Super happy I was able to get a 4-pack, second pour was a little ugly but it tastes great!

Can dated 2/1/17. Poured into Teku glass.
L: Not much head at all, maybe .5F. Leaves almost no lacing, no cap, very thin ring. Beer is a hazy pale gold.
S: Apricot up front, as you would expect from the apricot puree. Some tropical and citrus from the other hops, as well as some earthiness.
T: Follows nose. Nice soft flavor progression from apricot to other fruits to flaked oats to mildly earthy finish.
F: Medium body, light to medium carbonation. Lingers on palate. Good construction and balance.
O: Nice fruity DIPA and quite solid on the merits.

This was nice, but not the best tired hands can do. Decent flavor, nice body. I almost think i liked the can that was shaken up more than the one that was still, the pear flavor was more robust when shaken.

Light, hazy straw yellow body. I swear half of the can was sediment and my buddy got the short end of the stick. He practically had to chew his beer due to the sediment and floaties. No lacing or legs.
Typical Tired Hands beer in the nose. Lightly sweet with a bright floral hop presence. A little buttery. No detectable apricot.
Lots of Citra and Simcoe notes on the palate. Citrusy and floral with a little bit of resin. Again, no detectable apricot. Well-hidden alcohol content.
Medium body and low carbonation. Juicy finish.
This isn't a bad beer, but I've had far better Tired Hands beers, even over the last week.
