Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, red session. Dark brown color, creamy head. Aroma has spicy chocolate and dark, roasted malts. Taste has some umami and roasted malt bitterness but also a herbal/tea bitterness.

Poured from a can into my original gandhi bot snifter. Waited in line on a very windy 36 degree day without a jacket #dedication #poorplanning #hopeitisworthit #itusuallyis
Pour seemed to go on forever, black with cola tinted head
Nose is roasty, chocolately and fruity with the roast being most prominent
More of the roast, with a lingering vanilla sweetness. Not cloying.
Mouthfeel is creamy and oily.
Winner. The vanilla comes through and while I can't actually discern the tea, there is something in the profile / mouthfeel that is new to me, and in a good way.

This is maybe one of the oddest beers I've had but in a good way, huge flavor. Roast, smoke, tea and vanilla. Typical stout notes of coffee and chocolate. Dark fruits pop in and out. Thick, full, oily and creamy. Different and pretty amazing tasting.
