IPA brewed with German Pilsner malt and wheat malt. Fermented at cool temperatures with a Kölsch type yeast strain. Hopped intensely with Galaxy, Citra, and Simcoe. You're not in Köln.

On tap at the brewery in mid-March. Review is from notes.
It's an IPA made with German pils malt. Pours super hazy with a fluffy white head. Almost milkshakey. Not really my thing.
Smells and tastes strongly of a contemporary American IPA hop profile: pungent tropical fruit, some mango, and an odd, light soapiness on the back end that kind of drags everything down.
Just okay.

Cloudy pale yellow with a thick, creamy white head that lasts. There's a tiny bit of space just under the head where the yeast or whatever other particulate isn't there that is more of a hazed yellow. Leaves strong lacing.
Grapefruit and fresh cut grass in the aroma. Touch of underripe peach, too.
Dry tasting, mildly bitter, in the verge of chalky, with muted citrus pith and muted grass.
Medium bodied with strong carbonation.
Different looking, with a nice, dry, muted bitterness. My favorite of three IPas tried today.

From draft at TH today and my favorite of the four I sampled (the others were Hutch, Wish Fulfillment and Oblivex). Pours a light, slightly cloudy yellow with a nice foamy head. Delicious tartness on the nose and palate but with a good hoppy bitter finish. Maybe it's the Pilsner malt and/or Kolsch yeast that gives this beer a German twist. At any rate, it was terrific.
