IPA brewed with wheat, oats, and lactose sugar. Intensely hopped and dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic. Conditioned atop copious amounts of luscious coconut and luminous lemon purée, heaps of graham cracker crumbs, and Madagascar vanilla beans. Dreamt up in tandem with our wonderful pals from Omnipollo in Stockholm, Sweden.

My top 5 milkshakes of all time. I'd like to see this canned more often than the strawberry ones which were a total miss for me. Love the sourness of this one.

On tap at the brewcafe, and in the growler later.
Further boosting my theory that small cafe batches are the only way to go for these Shakes. Opaque yellow pour, with a small white head. Loses some points overall for appearance (and later mouthfeel), because the carb just died immediately in the growlers. I usually don't have problems with carbonation in TH growlers, but this was basically flat the day after filling. Oh well, there's freaking flour in it, so what can you do. Still tasted good anyway. In the nose, lemon cake and green hops. The taste pretty much nailed the lemon meringue, with lots of tangy lemon, clearly distinguishable from the citrusy hops, and having that meringue bitterness to it. Vanilla and graham come out nicely too. Not quite as epic as original cask Communication Is the Key Lime Pie, but this is probably the best Shake that TH has made in a while, and definitely heads over any of the can releases.

From draft at TH. Pours a cloudy lemon yellow. Lovely nose of citrus and lemon, and it screams lemon on the palate. With the lactose/lactase enzyme/sugar, it is as creamy on the palate as other TH/Omnipollo milkshake IPAs. The 9%abv is pretty well hidden, but there is plenty of bitterness on the finish. Delicious and other example of the creativity at Tired Hands. Bravo!
