IPA brewed with wheat, oats, and lactose sugar. Hopped intensely with Citra and Mosaic. Conditioned atop heaps of delicious strawberry purée, cacao nibs, and Madagascar vanilla beans. Dreamt up in tandem with our great friends from Omnipollo in Stockholm, Sweden.

From draft at TH. Pours an amber yellow with lots of Milkshake haze. Nice nose of tropical fruit and lactose sweetness. I found the palate to be a little less smooth than other TH Milkshake IPAs with a little alcohol heat and a tart note. Still a nice brew.

Poured from tap yesteday at the TH Brew Cafe at the upstairs bar into a standard TH pint glass. They were snapping picutures of it for their Instagram post. I was finishing up a Saison Hands when the bartender walked over to me after the photo shoot and handed me the full glass and said "enjoy". I got to spend time with a model at no cost, how cool was that!

L: Super cloudy hazy golden pink color. The sun was shining in through the window and the pink was evident. Head was two finger fluffy white and full lasting glass lacing.

S: I got the vanilla and strawberry right up front. Classic milkshake nose that displayed the cocoa nibs as it warmed up a bit and a bit of the sugar.

T: It's a milkshake, so of course the creamy vanilla flavor showed first which then mixed to the very distinctive strawberry flavor. Some heavy notes of tropical fruits are there along side the neopolitan flavors. Again as the beer warmed I got much more of the cocoa powder in the taste. Sweetness was sugar and slight bubble gum. Finsish went back to the strawberry and tropical fruits and of course again the finish was huge on the vanilla creaminess. Slight bitterness but it was overshadowed by the creamy. This is a great milkshake!

F: Creamy smooth, no alochol, full mouthfeel, excellent.

O: This for me was one of the best milkshakes right out of the tap and one of the best ever done. Some are better with a bit of age on them (Double Vanilla, Double Peach) but this one was spot on right off the bat. The neopolitan flavors mixed nicely and each one was very distinctive. TH did an awesome job with this beer and it is a true classic example of the Milkshake line. Loved it. I grabbed a growler too so I'll see how it is in a few days too and I might try to go back and get even more....it was that good for me.
