This Sushi Rice Double IPA is our second collaboration with chef Jesse Ito of the great Royal Sushi & Izakaya. We brewed with raw wheat and it was dry hopped aggressively with Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, and Crystal. We then conditioned it on nearly 300 lbs of Jesse's fully cooked and dressed sushi rice.

5/24/17 - On tap at The Fermentatia after picking up a "full boat" of can releases with my bro. Poured a cloudy straw yellow into their signature pokal glass. Bright white head dissipated a bit after being served. Zesty refreshing flavors are oh so good. Not too hoppy, though, for this Double IPA. I'd get this one again for sure.

Bright pale yellow in color. Turbid in appearance. Orange, lemon and pine. Dry, cracker malt profile. Not too sweet. Nicely balanced. It's real good.

From draft at Tired Hands. From the tap list: Notes of Seville orange, frangrant cedar, honeysuckle, light salinity, and preserved lemon. Nice, hazy pour; light-yellow with a small head. Enjoyable though I thought it a little hot from the higher ABV
