Growler from the brewery, pours cloudy yellow color with a 1-2 finger foamy off white head that faded slowly and left minimal lacing.
Smells of lemon zest, coriander, light peppery spices, orange peel, sweet malt, brown sugar, herbs, fresh cut grass, oats or grains, and mild floral hops. Very soft, complex and aromatic, it shows off the balance while remaining hop focused. Really nice to inhale.
Tastes of orange juice, lemon zest, tangerine, red grapefruit, guava, orange peel, fruity candy like Razzles, papaya, white grape, faint brown sugar, light caramel, piney hops, coriander, peppery spices, herbs, tea leaf, grains or oats, mild biscuit and dry floral hops that bring out a lot of floral notes. The grainy/malty sweetness blends well with the hop variants, allowing the citrus notes to really stand out. The bitterness level is mild and works well with the soft fruity notes. Mouthfeel is extremely smooth and creamy, with very mild carbonation and an aftertaste which includes the sharp citrus hops and the tasty malt sweetness. A really tasty beer overall.
