Look: Caramel-orange DIPA goodness, less hazy than most Tired Hands beers.
Smell: Really strong nose, sweet sweet hops and malt or oats, dank resin pine, citrus
Taste: Here is the difference. IMO it tastes great, much better than most regular high ABV DIPAs. But this beer comes off like a hybrid of a traditional more malt forward Imperial IPA and a northeast style hazy citrus bomb. If your looking to taste a NE juice bomb, get a different Tire Hands beer, but I found this beer to be a refreshing change of pace from a typical NE IPA. For 9.0% it really is smooth and rich, dank-resin, hoppy, and a hint of something tough to describe in the 3rd or 4th taste profile. With the additional of a few new ingredients, that must be producing these new profiles.
Feel: Pretty typical NE style thick coating mouthfeel, but a bit closer to an Imperial.
Overall: I found this beer to be great. I wish I had an easier way to get more. Keep in mind my description of it being
a bit different than usual. I am rating it a bit lower than some other TH beers. Mainly because when they make a near perfect NE style IPA sometimes, this simply doesn't quite reach those achievements.
