I was Just Thinking About You, Ron Jeffries is the first in our Psychic Mutualism series. Through this series, we intend to explore the unspoken and unseen subconscious impulses that propel friendship and inspiration. As ideas bubble up from the unconscious to the conscious, we will attempt to harness that energy and propel it into existence via a beer recipe devoted solely and entirely to one of our industry peers and inspirations. The first in this series is dedicated to our great friend Ron Jeffries over at Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales. Ron loves IPA. I'm not sure if you knew this about him, but Ron REALLY loves IPA, which is really cool as some of the beers that we love drinking most from him are not IPA-like at all. We also love drinking lots of IPA with Ron whenever our travel schedules allow. Ron seems to gravitate towards sturdy IPA, so we created a super sturdy IPA for him. Brewed with heaps of oats and wheat. Hopped intensely with Simcoe, Cascade, and Columbus. This beer has a balanced bitterness that allows all of the Simcoe mango/peachyness and the Cascade lemon/meadowfloweryness to really scream. I was just thinking about you, Ron Jeffries.

soft bready malts and some pithy grapefruit and other citrus notes. mellow floral and green pine character, some hints of tropical as well. nothing over the top though, quite subdued but decently rounded. good looking brew and solid mouthfeel as well, cheers!
