Why Laugh When You Can Cry? is a Very Sad Double IPA brewed with a touch of malted oats, and a heap of Australian Galaxy hops. Dry hopped with a silly amount of Mosaic and Galaxy. Why? Notes of drippy mango, peach pie, key lime, ruby red grapefruit, and lychee.

This beer poses an interesting question while presenting some of the sickest label art you’ll come across.

It pours completely opaque and hazy as possible with lots of super thick patches of lacing left from the big white head.

The nose is delightfully earthy with some subtle stone fruit notes.

The taste brings a wallop of strawberry and blueberry bursting from the massive creamy mouthfeel. There’s a subtle waffly malt profile and a bit of lime and grapefruit before this one finishes with a nice sharp dank bite that lingers for a few moments.

Bitterness is relatively low. Very low booziness. As stated above, the mouthfeel is simply huge. The word “milkshake” is overused when referring to beer but you seriously almost need a spoon for this one.

I like most of what TH does, but this is one of their first beers that has just blown me away. Well done.

16 oz. can dated 9/27/17

Pours cloudy hazy opaque orange amber with a dense creamy white foam head. Smells like ripe mango, peach pie, fresh lime, ruby red grapefruit, orange citrus, lemon, lychee, melon, caramelized bready grain, with dank floral resinous spicy earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like slightly boozy mango, peach pie, fresh lime peel, ruby red grapefruit, orange citrus, lemon pith, lychee, melons, caramelized bready grain, with dank floral resinous spicy earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium-full bodied, creamy smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall a real nice DIPA.

8.1% DIPA w/ oats and Galaxy hops; dry hopped with Mosaic and Galaxy...

Medium gold and juiced haze with a tall white foam head and lacing trailing behind... citrusy and fruity, with some yeasty undertones; smooth and soft, mildly sweet, mildly bitter, moderately carbonated feel... Elements of orange and grapefruit, lightly floral, hints of barnyard pine around the edges... A very nice beer...

Looks great, bright hazy orange. Nice pineapples, mangos, and tropical fruits in the nose, but the taste is a bit too bitter to be great, Awesome mouthfeel...less bitterness and this would be fantastic.
