On tap at the 6th Annual All Hallows Eve Dinner at the Brewcafe. Served with monkfish & chips.
This is pretty much unlike any other pils I've experienced. Mainly the color. Judging by appearance, this looks nothing like possibly any other pilsner in existence. It's dark brownish-red, but actually more of a magenta when held up to the light. I've had one other pea flower beer, which was some IPA from Burlington Beer Co., the name of which escapes me, but I do remember it also having a very unique color that strangely morphed in different lighting. Now if this were a blind tasting, then yeah, otherwise this beer is a pils to the senses: grainy aroma, toasted cereal and signature lager yeast, with a modest dose of hops. Light body, but full of flavor. Unique eye candy and good drinkability.
