Five Leaves Left (v) is the fifth and final installment in our series of single hopped double IPAs with a single added sugar. This iteration was brewed with a base of malted oats and jaggery, a sugar derived from palm sap. Hopped singly and intensely with the ever so important Cascade. Notes of bright tangerine, citrus flower, coconut flesh, cut grass, and solitude.

Poured from 16 oz can with unreadable date but looks to be something in 10/2017.
A: Cloudy yellow tending towards orange with generous 3-4 finger white head. Lasting retention and lots of sticky lacing.
S: Tangerines, lemons, and bright citrus. Subtle sweetness.
T: Bold tangerine and passion fruit combined with some honey or palm sugar.
M: Medium to light body with average carbonation. Finish is a little sweet.
O: Another unique but outstanding DIPA from Tired Hands. Thanks to @larryi86 for the chance to try it.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 10/04/17?
Poured into a Tired Hands glass a very nice cloudy yellowish color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, with some maltyness, pretty nice little citrus complex (tangerine, lemon), slight coconut. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, pretty nice citrus complex (tangerine, lemon), slight coconut, nice little sweetness. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew, quite different than other's I've had from TH. Addictive Milkshake! Glad to have gotten a chance to try it. Thanks Larry!

Disjointed. Interesting. Nice. Complex. Simple. Confusing.

16 oz can poured into a teku
A- A hazy golden orange with a two finger white head
S- Citrus, tangerines, some tropical fruits, piney, some sweetness and a touch of alcohol.
T- Citrus, hints of tropical fruits, some sweetness, some earthy spices, finish is mostly piney with a touch of dankness.
M- Smooth, medium body.
O- Not bad, but I feel I would have liked this more a few years ago. Flavors are a little all over the place and a little disjointed.
