Burden of Gratitude - Tired Hands
DIPA with Nelson and Galaxy - 8.1% abv
Canned 1/10/18 (4 days ago)

L - 3-finger billowing white head atop a murky yellow/brown body.

S - candied citrus. Some tropical fruits. A little booze.

T - tons of citrus at first. The sweetness hits you first but is then nullified by a bitter wave of tasty citrusy hops. I can actually taste the Galaxy in this! Not sure about Nelson but I’m sure it’s there. No booze at all in the taste.

F - medium-full body. Creamy as all hell. Feels like a stout.

O - This is my favorite TH brew in many months. I like it because I can actually taste the hops, unlike most of their other beers, which devolve into sugar bombs that destroy all the other flavors. This is just perfect. Make more beers like this please, Tired Hands!

16 oz can dated 1/10/18 poured into a 14.5oz stemless.

Appearance is dark straw and supremely murky. Like, next level murk. Fluffy 1.5 fingerhead. Some lacing. Head sticks around for a while. Dem proteins.

Nose is incredible. Straight fruit medley with mango, passionfruit, other tropical fruits. Touch of sickly malt sweetness, but otherwise your typical NEIPA using galaxy and nelson.

Taste follows the nose with tropical and stone fruits. Malty sweetness as well as a nice rounded bitterness to reign in the juice. Only thing I wish was more of that galaxy dankness.

Mouthfeel is supremely soft and carbonation is medium minus.

Overall, pretty damn good beer for their 300th run. I still love most of their shakes more than their regular NEIPA offerings, but this was definitely up there in deliciousness.

From a 16oz can purchased at the TH release. Typical cloudy TH pour. Tan/yellow color with a generous head. Lots of "dank" and hoppy notes on the nose, with citrus in the background. More bitter than sweet compared with recent TH DIPAs. Nice beer.

16 oz can, dated 1/10/18, poured into a teku

A- A hazy golden copper with a two finger white head.

S- Lime zest, citrus, some hints of tropical fruits, dank, fresh abrasive hops, hints of some sweet malts.

T- Citrus, lime zest, melons, some tropical fruits, dank/piney finish.

M- Smooth, creamy, medium body.

O- One of Tired Hands best DIPAs, easy to drink. Big bright citrus hops balanced out with more a West Coast bitter finish.
