Familiar Stranger is a Farmhouse IPA brewed with our dear friend Ilya. It was brewed entirely with French Pilsner malt. Solely and thoughtfully hopped in the kettle with Brewers Gold. Fermented with a new magickal mixed culture in stainless. Then gently dry hopped with Brewers Gold, Lemondrop, and French Strisselspalt.

Numbers reflect rating it as more of a Farmhouse/Belgian IPA, not an American IPA
32 oz crowler, filled 2/3/18, poured into a teku
A- A hazy golden straw color with two finger white head.
S- Fruity, citrus, pears, melons, bubblegum, a mild earthy/funky yeast.
T- Citrus, melons, pears, touch of pale malts, a little floral, finish is piney with some funk.
M- Smooth, medium body.
O- A solid take on a Farmhouse IPA. Definitely different from the IPAs they usually brew, but not in a bad way.

From draft at TH. Pours a light yellow and just a little cloudy. From the tap list: "Notes of grapefruit pith, honeydew melon, moist garden soil, and dandelion greens." Some citrus notes and a little dank.
