On tap at Tired Hands Brew Cafe in Ardmore, PA.
This one pours a mostly clear dark orange, with a small white head, and not much lacing.
This smells like crackery pilsner malt, grassy hops, bittersweet honey, flowers, and light hay funk.
This is a really cool beer. It's very funky, but it's a subtle, elegant sort of funk. There's a bit of grassy, hay, and dandelion sort of flavor, with a a malt character that reminds me of a snappy and tasty pilsner. There's some tea and grassy hop flavor, with a very slight honey sweetness. I expected this to be sour, but it's really not at all. It's not even all that tart- just a tad. It's more just funky and floral in the best way. It feels like I'm drinking a garden or a meadow.
This is light bodied, crisp and very clean, with a good level of carbonation.
This was a really unique and honestly fascinating beer. I really enjoyed it.
